KWILA (Kwila)
Heartwood yellowish to brown-orange, becoming brown when exposed to the light. Sapwood is differentiated from the heartwood and is of a pale yellow to fawn colour. |
Planks, cabinet making, joinery. It is recommended that it is treated if used for outdoor purposes. The Kwila contains a relatively important quantity of coloured matter wich is washed out by the rain. |
